The 26th Annual St. Clair Flats Hunting Decoy Show and Competition will be held on Saturday-August 8th, 2009 at The Perch Point Conservation Club(PPCC) (www.ppccusa.org)(810-765-4966). The PPCC is located at 7930 Meisner Road, Casco Twp., MI 48064 (corner of Palms & Meisner Roads-2 miles North of Marine City Highway).
The 2009 “Flats Rig” decoy is the MALLARD.
We will be having all our regular competitions as before and rules & prizes are listed on this site. The Market Gunners will be judged indoors, in a tank, and the Market Gunner 3-Bird Rigs will be judged outdoors, in the pond, and must be rigged with dropper lines and clips. The Endangered Species (IWCA sponsored competition) has been dropped by IWCA.
$3.00 Admission per person, $5.00 per family. Children 12 and under are free.
Competitions
These competitions are open to all Amateur and Open division carvers:
Prizes: 3 hand painted decoys by Bud Shell, Gary Hanson, and Lou Tisch.
Special Grand Prize (drawn last) - 3 bird RIG (Redheads), carved and painted by Gary Joe Bryan.
Awards Presentation/Decoy Auction

The SCFWA Awards Presentation and Annual Auction of Decoys and related materials will be held immediately after the closing of the show. Please plan to attend and support our show. Donations are welcome.
The "Flats Rig" 2009 - Mallard
The 2009 Flats Rig will be Mallard. These Mallard decoys have been carved and painted by club and associate members. Each decoy has been branded as a limited edition carving, specifically for this show. These special decoys will be auctioned during our show though we reserve the option of posting some on eBay at a later date.
